Customer Insights Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting various departments across the company with the handling of shopper insights and customer marketing data
  • Working closely with the buying team to complete category reviews throughout the year
  • Working closely with the Customer Insights team abroad across projects including the development of international reports and customer marketing concepts
  • Working locally on shopper insight projects from end-to-end
  • Supporting the content-related design of Category & Customer Insight supplier meetings, presenting relevant info and insights to senior stakeholders
  • Working alongside research companies to deliver accurate and robust consumer data insights based on trends, and market/category idiosyncrasies (both micro and macro)
  • Reviewing performance on a seasonal level during busy periods – Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc.

Skills/Experience needed:
  • Third level degree, ideally in marketing or a business discipline
  • Experience in Category Management/Customer Insights Management in the FMCG/Retail sector – either agency, supplier, or retailer.
  • Experience with consumer panels – e.g., Nielsen, Kantar, GfK.
  • Strong knowledge of shopper marketing within Ireland
  • Fluent English
  • Confidence with MS Office with a particular proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and capable of acting on own initiative.
  • Full drivers’ license is a strong plus but not essential. Company car will be provided.
