Digital Product Manager

We are currently working with a leading retailer who are looking to add a Digital Product Manager to their team.

The company is in a rapid growth phase and to support this ambitious growth, we are seeking to onboard an experienced Digital Product Manager to join our new team and play a lead role in the end-to-end delivery of our digital products.

This role will form part of the Commercial team and reports to the Head of Digital & Partnerships. It is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to excel.

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop the digital product vision to deliver the best consumer experience, driving customer acquisition and conversion.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for mobile, app and web in alignment with business goals.
  • Lead the re-platform of mobile and web products and development of other key digital initiatives.
  • Execute the product vision and roadmap for the loyalty platform.
  • Lead planning sessions to translate business requirements into feature requirements.
  • Effectively document requirements and work with external digital technology providers to plan and execute development.
  • Manage feature delivery plan and QA, ensuring key release dates are met on time and on budget.
  • Support the discovery of new product opportunities including the identification and evaluation of potential vendors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, Commercial and Finance to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes.


Qualifications, experience & skills:      
 
  • 4+ years in a digital product management role, gained within a B2C environment, either in-house or agency.
  • Direct experience of launching multiple digital products; managing the full product lifecycle, from concepting through to UAT, launch and ongoing optimisation.
  • Deep understanding of digital technology development processes for web, iOS/Android App and mobile platforms.
  • Strong understanding of analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Firebase).
  • Experience in SEO strategy and implementation of best practices.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, and development processes.
  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of digital and retail technologies, including but not limited to point-of-sale systems, payments processing systems, integration architecture, database management, customer segmentation, app development and tracking/tagging.
  • Attention to detail and strong project management skills.
