Role and Responsibilities:
-Identifying emerging food trends and sourcing innovative products to meet customer demands.
-Collaborating with suppliers on negotiating contracts, pricing, and quality assurance.
-Ensuring product availability by maintaining optimal inventory levels and timely replenishment.
-Monitoring market trends, competition, and consumer preferences to inform strategic purchasing decisions.
-Developing and nurturing strong relationships with suppliers, fostering partnerships for mutual growth.
-Collaborating cross-functionally with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to optimize product offerings.

Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a Buyer in a retail or supermarket environment.
-In-depth knowledge of global food trends, market dynamics, and supply chain management.
-Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
-Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
