Infrastructure Engineer

Now, in a rapid growth phase, they are seeking to onboard a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to become an integral member as they look towards further ambitious growth. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft OS, Windows Servers, Office 365, and MS Azure

• Proactively seek opportunities to improve end-user technologies to increase employee productivity, efficiency, and overall satisfaction

• Collaborate and contribute to end-user computer strategy and roadmap

• Establish metrics and KPIs to measure efficient systems and resources usage all the while monitoring technology performance to ensure service level expansions are being met

• Configure and troubleshoot servers, networks devices, storage systems to ensure optimal performance across all platforms while evaluating and selecting the relevant hardware, software, and tools to enhance system performance

• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for critical systems and data across diverse platforms.

Key Requirements:

• 7+ years’ experience in computer hardware and software support in a commercial/enterprise environment

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience

• Experience with: MS Azure (design, performance, and costs) in a commercial environment, MS 365, MS Office, MS Collaboration tools, service desk procedures & policies

• Experience selecting and implementing Virtualization technologies

• Experience using MS Power and previous experience working in a retail/supply chain environment is a plus.
