Marketing Manager About the Role:

Our client, a fast-growing retail business with a strong focus on ecommerce performance, customer experience, and digital growth, is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join their team. Operating across multiple brands and channels, their primary ecommerce platform is Shopify, supported by industry-leading apps and tools.

As the business enters an exciting new phase of growth, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Marketing Manager to lead strategic marketing initiatives, drive online and offline engagement, and support the scaling of the business across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities: Social Media Management:
  • Develop and implement social media strategies across key platforms to build brand awareness and engage with target audiences.

  • Monitor social media trends, platform updates, and audience behaviour to optimise engagement and reach.

  • Manage content calendars, create compelling posts, and oversee community management to drive meaningful interactions.

Content Creation:
  • Create graphics for organic content and company announcements across the group’s social media channels.

  • Oversee the production of high-quality marketing content via external marketing partners, ensuring consistency with brand voice and messaging.

  • Support the development of social media campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials.

Campaign Management:
  • Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and traditional channels.

  • Monitor campaign performance and use data-driven insights to optimise results and ROI.

  • Ensure all marketing activity aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.

Digital Marketing:
  • Manage the company’s online presence, including websites, social media platforms, and online advertising.

  • Utilise SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and customer acquisition.

Event Management:
  • Plan and manage corporate events such as industry expos, product launches, and dealer conferences.

  • Coordinate event logistics, promotional materials, and follow-up activities to maximise brand impact.

Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop promotional offers and sales support materials to drive revenue and customer loyalty.

Vendor & Agency Management:
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure the effective delivery of marketing initiatives.

Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay abreast of marketing trends, tools, and technologies.

  • Continuously seek ways to improve marketing processes, customer experience, and campaign performance.

Skills & Experience Required: Essential:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing, ideally in a similar role within retail, ecommerce, or consumer-focused industries.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret performance data to inform strategy.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems, social media platforms, graphic design software).

Desirable:
  • Experience working with Shopify or other ecommerce platforms.

  • Familiarity with Klaviyo, loyalty programmes, and customer engagement tools.

  • Event management experience.

  • Basic knowledge of SEO, SEM, and website content management.
