Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the external & internal communications strategy and annual plan
- Create and deliver comms materials and events for consumer, corporate and employee engagement campaigns
- Actively engage and lead comms campaigns for issue management and crisis comms
- Manage agency partners including charities and non-profit
- Monitor industry trends and continuously update methods, processes, and procedures for best-in-class communications across the organisation.
Skills/Experience needed:
- An experienced storyteller with the ability to translate complex topics into simple language that resonates with all stakeholders
- Media relations expert who has a large network of media contacts
- Proven track record of internal communications experience including developing a positive employee culture and creating content for employee communications
- Creative and results-focused with the ability to the think outside the box and generate cut through press coverage to build a brand’s profile
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in corporate communications, in-house or agency considered
- Experience managing a press office
- Confident, motivated and can work independently
- Ability to work under pressure
- Full clean driver’s license
- Third-level degree is essential in relevant field
