Our client has seen consistent and considerable growth in recent years and is looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic Senior Communications Manager to join their team of 7,000 dedicated personnel nationwide. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the external & internal communications strategy and annual plan
  • Create and deliver comms materials and events for consumer, corporate and employee engagement campaigns
  • Actively engage and lead comms campaigns for issue management and crisis comms
  • Manage agency partners including charities and non-profit
  • Monitor industry trends and continuously update methods, processes, and procedures for best-in-class communications across the organisation.

 

Skills/Experience needed:

  • An experienced storyteller with the ability to translate complex topics into simple language that resonates with all stakeholders
  • Media relations expert who has a large network of media contacts
  • Proven track record of internal communications experience including developing a positive employee culture and creating content for employee communications
  • Creative and results-focused with the ability to the think outside the box and generate cut through press coverage to build a brand’s profile
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in corporate communications, in-house or agency considered
  • Experience managing a press office
  • Confident, motivated and can work independently
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Full clean driver’s license
  • Third-level degree is essential in relevant field
