Senior Specialist Space & Floor Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Using consumer data and insights from a variety of platforms, ensure that sites are laid out correctly laid out and positioned in such a way that will optimse the customer journey and increase sales.
  • Maintain, revise, and review floor plans using planograms.
  • Maintain a master database of store floor plans using Relex Suggested Ordering.
  • Building planograms in test site, with the relevant category manager and presenting insights, rationale, and targets to the leadership team.
  • Using reporting tools (Relex & BI) offer insights which can correct space-related inconsistencies, optimise product placement, and mitigate against wastage.
  • Lead the execution of yearly EU and local Category/Marketing Plans following European process, structure, and timing. Align and secure this category plan with all relevant stakeholders.


Skills/Experience needed:
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work with and influence stakeholders at all levels including C-suite.
  • Excellent communication skills with an instinctive ability to include relevant project/company stakeholders at the right time.
  • 3 years’ experience working in Category Management – FMCG/retail industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Space Planning Tools e.g., Spaceman or Relex is essential.
  • Knowledge of category management tools and performance management tools.
  • Experience working with consumer insights (Kantar and Nielsen) is an advantage.
