Key Responsibilities:
Using consumer data and insights from a variety of platforms, ensure that sites are laid out correctly laid out and positioned in such a way that will optimse the customer journey and increase sales.
Maintain, revise, and review floor plans using planograms.
Maintain a master database of store floor plans using Relex Suggested Ordering.
Building planograms in test site, with the relevant category manager and presenting insights, rationale, and targets to the leadership team.
Using reporting tools (Relex & BI) offer insights which can correct space-related inconsistencies, optimise product placement, and mitigate against wastage.
Lead the execution of yearly EU and local Category/Marketing Plans following European process, structure, and timing. Align and secure this category plan with all relevant stakeholders.
Skills/Experience needed:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to work with and influence stakeholders at all levels including C-suite.
Excellent communication skills with an instinctive ability to include relevant project/company stakeholders at the right time.
3 years’ experience working in Category Management – FMCG/retail industry experience is a plus.
Experience with Space Planning Tools e.g., Spaceman or Relex is essential.
Knowledge of category management tools and performance management tools.
Experience working with consumer insights (Kantar and Nielsen) is an advantage.
